Macarons for Days

Macarons, macarons, macarons. It’s all I ever make anymore. When I bake, I typically pick what I think is prettiest, make it once, and move on. But these cute little cookies have presented me with a challenge to get them just right.

I have had broken macarons, flat, hollow, burnt, wet, lumpy… pretty much everything that could go wrong, has. Until the next time I make them. Then I’ll find a new type of failure. Every time I make them I feel like this is the time they will be perfect. But then there is a brand new disaster.

But, I’m finally getting it. I’ve been having more and more successful batches. Now it’s time to really start playing!
